Fern Hill Burlington Campus

Families choose Fern Hill Burlington not only because of its educational excellence, but because our campus is warm and inviting with indoor and outdoor spaces rich with purpose.

Building on 20 years of success in Oakville, our 33,000 square foot Burlington campus opened in 1999. Despite being minutes from the QEW, 403, 407, North Service Road and King Road, the school is safely tucked away, with 30 acres of land providing a country feel in the middle of the city — towering trees, large open playing fields and a one-of-a-kind outdoor Field Studies centre.

Students can burn off energy, shoot hoops, play baseball or soccer and meet with friends on our rolling school grounds. Light-filled hallways and original works of art hanging on the walls create a creative, social environment that inspires learning and creativity. Individual classrooms are tranquil spaces and each one offers a view onto the ravine.

Our state-of-the-art facility includes a fully equipped gymnasium, computer lab, science lab, music and art studios, a field station and engaging early-learning classrooms.

With such a large property in Burlington, bordered by forested ravine, it seemed natural to incorporate the natural world into our daily curriculum. Our onsite field station is home to our Field Studies program where activities such as bird banding, snowshoeing and native gardening are held. Nesting boxes provide homes for native blue birds and our Fern Hill stream is home to many interesting water creatures for students to see and study. Visiting deer on the playing fields regularly greet the first to arrive in the morning.
