Each year, we welcome new faces to our school.

We accept applications from Preschool through Grade 8 throughout the year, but we encourage you to begin the process in the fall of the year prior to admission. Fern Hill holds two Open Houses each year usually in October and February and appointments with our Admissions Office can be arranged to tour the school while it is in session.

Fern Hill seeks students who will benefit from the pursuit of our mission. In order to determine that our programme can meet a child’s needs, we first assess an applicant’s ability through a carefully developed entrance evaluation geared to the child’s age. An admission evaluation will be held on January 19th, 2008. Please contact the admissions office at (905) 634-8652 or admissions@fernhillschool.com for more information. Special arrangements for testing can also be made through the Admissions Office.

Your child’s completed file will include the application fee, a copy of the applicant’s birth certificate, a copy of the applicant’s previous year report card, and a copy of the applicant’s most recent report card.

We also maintain a waiting list of qualified students for whom we initially have no space and accept new students from this group as openings occur.
