Fern Hill is a regional member of Young Round Square of the Americas, a junior level association of Round Square International Schools.

Through this innovative programme, students in Grade 7 and 8 are exposed to unique and rewarding opportunities beyond the classroom. These opportunities develop self-confidence, compassion, understanding and leadership qualities. They can participate in projects and exchanges with other members of Young Round Square of the Americas.

The six pillars of Round Square are: Internationalism, Democracy, Environmental awareness, Adventure, Leadership and Service to others (IDEALS) which are mirrored in all aspects of the Fern Hill programme.

Being part of Young Round Square means that Fern Hill can:

• Host staff and students from Round Square schools in our classrooms and our homes.
• Send students and staff to participate in programmes and exchanges at participating schools.
• Participate in service projects.
• Participate in Young Round Square conferences.
• Benefit from contact with some of North and South America's finest schools and outstanding role models
